Dave began his career more than 20 years ago with the national accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand where he was a Certified Public Accountant, working in both the audit and tax departments. In 1980, he joined a local accounting firm as the manager of the tax department, then formed his own firm in 1984 which merged later with Lawrence E. Taylor, P.C.

With expertise in tax and financial services, Dave also specializes in corporate bankruptcies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Kansas State University where he graduated magna cum laude.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, Dave has also earned the certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ AND CFP® which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.
